Presenting the Music for Youth Primary Prom concerts
On Monday 3 February, Sam presented the Music for Youth Primary Prom concerts in Symphony Hall Birmingham. Across two shows, Sam guided the combined audience of more than 4,000 primary school children through the performances of young musicians from around the midlands. There was even a performance of the first movement of Felix Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No.11 in F on his birthday - a piece he wrote when he was just 13 years old! ...
