Conductor

Sam is in demand as a conductor of children and adult choirs.  He conducted the 500 strong East Riding of Yorkshire Massed Choir at the Royal Albert Hall in the 2008 Music for Youth Schools Prom and conducted 750 school children in the 2009 Sing for All Choir for Symphony Hall.

He was the founder Musical Director of the Beverley Early Music Festival Schools Chorus and led performances of Noyes Fludde at Hull City Hall for Woldgate College and in Halifax Minster for Calderdale Music Service.

Sam is the conductor of Forgotten Voices Community Choir at Pocklington Arts Centre, Hands and Voices Singing and Signing Choir and the IMPs East Riding, which are run by Accessible Arts and Media in York.  

His experience as Musical Director for theatrical performances includes Rent! Schools Edition, Oliver, The Wizard of Oz, Guys and Dolls, Jesus Christ Superstar, Busgy Malone and Mulgrave for Performing Arts etc, YMTS, Wilson+Wilson, Upstage Centre Youth Theatre and Woldgate College.
